A set of five versatile climbing expresses, combining the advantages of straight lock and wire carabiners. They are equipped with Dyneema ribbons, which contribute to weight reduction.
Italian climbing equipment manufacturer Climbing Technology offers a full cross-section of climbing gear, from the most advanced models to simpler ones that have to endure the hardships of frequent use. There is also no shortage of versatile solutions, such as the Lime-M Set Dyneema, in which one carabiner has a toothless solution that guarantees instant clipping in of the express, while the other is characterized by low weight and full reliability.
The expresses are equipped with carabiners Lime S and Lime W, which have already proven themselves in previous seasons. Made with hot-forging technology from lightweight alloys, they are excellent examples of modern solutions and proven shape. As a result, handling them is effortless and the weight has been kept at a fantastic level. The top carabiner is equipped with a simple lock. Thanks to this, clipping in the express is easy and instant. An important contribution to this is also made by the toothless solution of the lock - so called Catch-free. It eliminates the risk of accidental snagging on the climber, rope or tape, significantly increasing the smoothness of all operations. The lower carabiner has a wire lock. This solution guarantees the highest reliability even if the lock gets dirty. It is also very resistant to possible freezing. The unquestionable advantage of this type of lock is also the reduction of the weight of the entire carabiner, which makes a big difference when several expresses are clipped into the climber.
New in this edition of expresses is a patented Fixit solution that stabilizes and prevents twisting of the lower carabiner. However, this rubber stabilizer fulfills another additional role. Namely, it provides protection for the webbing from rapid abrasion, combining two functions.
To keep the weight down, a thin Dyneema webbing was used, which does its job very well.
