Petzl Carabiner - Am'D Triact-Lock
The asymmetrical aluminum Am'D carabiner is D-shaped, adapted primarily for clipping into various devices, such as downhill or lunge. Its rounded internal shape and Keylock system make it easy to manipulate. The Am'D carabiner is available with three locking systems: the SCREW-LOCK manual system and the TRIACT-LOCK and BALL-LOCK automatic systems.

The use of the CAPTIV crossbar keeps the carabiner aligned with the longitudinal axis in the direction of the load and rigidly connects the device to the lunge, reducing the risk of the carabiner rotating.
